Vacation Okoboji Brand Activation

Vacation Okoboji was requesting a more polished look for their destination marketing to help draw in a new generation of visitors while still having their loyal regulars feel right at home. To start things off, I worked with their tourism director to plan a 3-day photo and video shoot to refresh and expand Vacation Okoboji’s asset library and highlight key activities and points of interest. I then led all art direction and design for various assets across multiple media types, including their massive annual vacation guide.

Photo and Video Shoot:

  • Worked with the tourism director to plan locations and shot schedule for photo and video shoot.

  • Directed on-site photo and video shoot to build library for vacation guide and future marketing campaigns.

  • Photo editing and color correction to ensure consistent look across all visuals.

Vacation Guide:

  • Worked with client to determine pagination, content organization and available ad space for 130+ page vacation guide.

  • Layout and design of guide.

  • Art directed production artist who assisted with guide layout.

  • Layout and design for various social and digital ad campaigns.

Organic Social Campaign:

  • Designed variety of social media templates for Vacation Okoboji to use for their own organic social posts.

  • Implemented social post templates within client’s Canva account.
